Humanity Innovation Labs, will be participating in this, “Hacking the Human Element, wearable tech event in Tampa, Florida the 1st week of December.
They are currently looking for developers, designers, military, and academic and industry partners interested in building and demonstrating product prototypes that incorporate wearable technologies designed for performance in austere environments such as remote medical facilities, conflict zones, and emergency/disaster response.
MD5, in collaboration with SOFWERX, will host a technology hackathon on December 1-3 in Tampa that focuses on wearables and their applications.
On-site experts will prepare hackathon participants to compete by providing unique insights into the physical and mental challenges, remote communication needs, data collection / organization requirements, and the application of these technologies in austere environments.
Winning team(s) to receive up to $15K to further develop their concepts in collaboration with MD5.
